Jaya Bachchan has always made headlines for her rude interactions with the media when they take her pictures during events. Recently, the veteran actress made an appearance at the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai with her granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda.

Dressed in a pink salwar suit, the actress is seen walking into the venue with a stern expression. In the now-viral video, it can be seen that when a paparazzi stumbles while clicking her pictures, instead of asking if he is fine she arrogantly says, “Serves you right! I hope you double and fall.” She is then seen questioning the paparazzi about which media outlets are they from.


Her arrogant tone hasn’t gone unnoticed by the netizens this time. They immediately took to social media to express their views on the same. Sharing the video, a Twitter user wrote, “This is what Bollywood Bhaands like Jaya Bachchan think of normal people. What kind of senseless person would wish for people to fall harder and get injured?”


Many flooded the comments section by pointing out how rude she is and also questioned the self-respect of the paparazzi to keep clicking her pictures even after she disrespects them.


One comment said, “Why does she always spew venom? And it does serve the media right. What has she done that the paps Suck up to her so match. Bhaav hi mat do.” Other said, “Expected cranky behaviour when deep down you know 'Amitjiiii loves Rekhajiii’.“ Another said, “Why is she always in a sullen mood. She has gained her position being a film star and actress .They are public figures and owe good behaviour with the paps and public!”

Pointing out the difference between other celebrities and the Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham actress, one Instagram user wrote, “No need to click her pictures of such bakwas lady. Atleast u guys take care of ur self-respect, she always insult you guys. Look at other stars , they always say tons of time thanks to you guys. So better don't take pictures of this bakwas lady.” 


On the professional front, Jaya Bachchan along with her entire family visited the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati to celebrate her husband Amitabh Bachchan’s 80th birthday. She is currently seen in Navya’s ongoing podcast What The Hell Navya alongside her daughter Shweta Bachchan. The veteran actress will also be seen in Karan Johar’s next venture Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
